Mortgage Underwriter

Milton Keynes OR Birmingham based

They are looking for an Underwriter to join a growing team of 7 so far. They need experienced Buy to Let Underwriters, but this could just be part of your skill set as there is a definite opportunity to expand into other areas in the future. They have two premises; one in Milton Keynes and another in Birmingham and are happy with this role being based in either location.

The primary function of this role is to assess and underwrite mortgage applications to ensure all lending complies with the company’s credit risk policy. Additionally, work with the processing team to assist in the preparation of case files as well as assisting our intermediary partners by discussing potential new applications.

If you want to join this exciting company, you will have :

• A current or recent Underwriting Mandate
• Good knowledge of Buy to Let lending (to include Limited Company, HMO and Multi lets)
