Principal People are exclusively supporting a manufacturing company who are looking for a new member to join the business. The company are looking for a Health and Safety Manager and the position will consist of managing Health and Safety and Environmental matters for the sites that have been well-established in the area for many years.
The role will be very operational and will involve a lot of 'hands-on' HSE Advice throughout the site teams. You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) who are all incredibly engaged towards Health and Safety.
We would love to see CVs from people who have:
- A NEBOSH General Certificate
- A Manufacturing and Industrial Background will be preferred
- Experience with working with all aspects of HSE

The key duties include:
- Offering appropriate advice and support to the site teams within Health and Safety and Environmental Matters
- Implementing practical and effective methods to promote awareness to Health and Safety
- To carry out operational Health and Safety duties such as risk assessments, method statements and accident investigations on the sites
- Managing the Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental for the whole location
- Creating positive relationships with the site teams to help improve the HSE Culture across the region
- Conducting site safety training and compiling safety data
