Graduate Town Planner

About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Planner to join a well-established consultancy in Lincoln. This role is ideal for a recent graduate seeking hands-on experience in planning within a supportive and professional environment. The position involves working on a variety of projects and contributing to planning solutions across different sectors.

Key Responsibilities for a Graduate Planner:

1. Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
2. Conducting research and site appraisals to support planning proposals.
3. Assisting in drafting reports and planning statements.
4. Engaging with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
5. Keeping up to date with planning policies and legislative changes.
6. Providing administrative support to the planning team as required.

Candidate Requirements Graduate Planner:

1. A degree in town planning, geography, or a related discipline.
2. An interest in UK planning policies and regulations.
3. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
4. Working towards RTPI accreditation (preferred but not essential).
