The Opportunity

We are looking to hire a Senior Associate Consultant for our macro desk. You will work closely with the founder and broader team to both run searches end-to-end and drive business development in a highly specialised space. There will also be a flow of active mandates to support, but you will be expected to take ownership of your area and help push the business forward in line with our growth strategy.

We are ideally looking for candidates with a combination of market knowledge, professionalism, and drive , and who are genuinely interested in building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates in the macro investing world .

We are hiring multiple positions within our macro desk and would also be open to profiles at Associate level, depending on experience.

This opportunity could suit someone who is:

• An experienced executive search professional with a track record of placing macro-focused front-office talent (e.g. Portfolio Managers, Traders, Strategists, Economists); or
• A commercially driven individual from a sales or business development background , who has built and managed relationships with buy-side or sell-side investment leaders, including CIOs and Heads of Trading or Strategy.

The successful hire could be focused on:

• Candidate delivery and search execution , managing end-to-end recruitment processes for live mandates;
• Business development and account management , expanding coverage across key macro-focused firms;
• Or a hybrid of both, depending on skillset.

Key Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• 2–5+ years’ experience in:
• Executive search or front-office recruitment in financial services; or
• A sales, relationship management, or client-facing role with a buy-side front-office macro client based (e.g. selling research or software to CIOs, Portfolio Managers, Heads of Research at hedge funds, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds)
• Previous experience placing or selling to one or more of the of the following roles: Macro/Fixed Income Portfolio Managers , Traders, Macro Strategists, Economists , or Macro Research Analysts
• A demonstrable track record of running full searches OR developing a client lead into a revenue-generating client with a disciplined, methodical approach — from client briefing through research, sourcing, process management and closing.
• A consultative approach with a long-term relationship building mindset, as opposed to a shorter-term transactional mindset
• At least intermediate knowledge of the macro fixed income landscape , some key industry players (buy-side and sell-side), market trends, and key players
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with excellent professional judgement
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple complex mandates simultaneously
• Commercially astute, proactive, and motivated by delivering outstanding results
