S&H are exclusively partnering with a leading global retailer/leisure business. The business is seeking a high quality corporate lawyer to join its in-house team in a key Senior Legal Counsel role, supporting the Group General Counsel. This is an exciting and varied position.

The role

A business facing in-house role at a top tier company, with a balance of business partnering and advising stakeholders on a variety of corporate and strategic matters. Secondary responsibilities of the position are broader commercial work and the chance to diversity experience. The role can be broken down as follows:

Supporting the General Counsel and senior stakeholders on a variety of Corporate matters:
Advising on share and asset acquisitions, JVs, corporate restructurings.
True business partnering with a variety of business units.
Support the business in capital structure and corporate financing.
Supporting in corporate governance, compliance and company secretarial matters.

About you

Strong academics
In-house experience essential either gained on secondment or working in-house permanently.
Law firm trained
Strong interpersonal skills
PQE bracket is 4 years and above. This is a guide only.
