This is a permanent Band 6 position within the newly formed dietetic team. The post-holder will collaborate with two Band 7 dietitians and a Band 8a clinical lead to deliver specialist care to liver and HPB patients both inpatient and outpatient. The role offers diverse clinical opportunities, fostering professional growth and service development in partnership with the MDT.
Main dutiesThe post involves working with patients preparing for liver transplantation, managing liver and HPB cancer diagnoses, supporting nutrition during pancreatitis or hepatitis, and post-surgical rehabilitation. There is also an opportunity to spend one day per week in critical care.

- HCPC registration
- Membership of relevant professional groups (e.g., BDA oncology, gastroenterology, PENG)
- Experience on an acute ward
