We are seeking a reliable and professional receptionist to join our team at Town & Country Veterinary Group at our Clayton-Le-Moors branch. You will have good communication skills as you will be the first point of contact for our clients, good organisational skills, and the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Knowledge of Word, Excel, and email is preferred.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting clients and their pets on arrival
- Efficiently managing the diaries, booking/cancelling or re-arranging appointments, handling online bookings, and maintaining client records
- Promoting the Pet Health Club and all other initiatives that are running in the practice
- Processing payments, cashing up at the end of the day
- Managing client orders and repeat prescriptions
This is a part-time position working evenings and Saturdays, averaging 23 hours per week. The shift times are Monday-Friday 4:30pm-7:30pm, and Saturdays 8am-5pm.
Town and Country Veterinary Group is based in Lancashire within easy reach of Manchester and Liverpool. We are a well-established practice with 3 branches. Our practices are well equipped with all the normal facilities expected, including digital x-ray, a separate theatre and prep area, surgical electrocautery, multi-parameter monitor, haematology and biochemistry in-house, and a modern laptop ultrasound machine.
We have a lovely well-established team, including 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, 7 Receptionists, 1 Admin, 1 Practice Manager, and a Clinical Director. Our client base is loyal, and we pride ourselves on offering the best standards of service and care to patients and clients alike.
