We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools based in Carmarthen. The ideal candidates will have experience working with children in a school environment or within a relevant setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. Opportunities available in both Mainstream & ALN settings. Experience supporting pupils with ALN (Additional Learning Needs) such as Autism & ADHD is beneficial.
Part & Full Time hours available. £88.92-£95.00 daily rate. Monday – Friday (during school term) 8:30am-3:30pm working hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education.
- Assisting with lesson planning and preparation.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Supervising children during activities and breaks.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
- Have a valid enhanced child workforce DBS or willing to obtain one.
- Register with the EWC if haven’t already.
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting or relevant setting.
- A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or childcare are preferred.
