We are looking for an innovative and forward-thinking EIA expert driven by positive environmental schemes that make a difference to lead our ambitious and driven EIA team.
The role will be accountable for leading and developing the EIA growth strategy in line with the Planning and Lanpro Business Plans, and for collaboration across all divisions nationally. Working closely with commercial, operational, discipline directors and key stakeholders, such as Finance and HR, to drive growth and profitability across the business line.
Responsibilities include:
- Management of the EIA Business Unit.
- Overall responsibility for the running of the Unit.
- Implement appropriate strategies and processes to ensure delivery of business unit and company targets.
- Participate in the Monthly Planning Board Meeting ensuring key decisions are taken in the best interests of the Unit, Division and Stakeholders of the business.
- Ensure the Unit runs in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures and the sharing of best practice with all stakeholders.
- Chair and direct a weekly meeting with the Unit to ensure that all aspects are performing to target.
- Ensure tender pricing is governed and signed off appropriately.
- Liaise closely with Planning Director - Business Unit Lead to ensure a working knowledge of the progress to date and issues arising in the Unit.

Delivering Our Projects:
- Responsible for the P&L, budget, profitability and SHEQ aspects for specific area(s), activity, and/or project(s).
- Effectively manage significant and complex projects to a high standard.
- Take a key role in projects within relevant specialised field and provide technical leadership.
- Manage the delivery of projects and lead the preparation of tender responses.
Health & Safety:
- Overall responsibility for the provision of effective Health & Safety for the Unit.
Other Requirements:
- A strong understanding of EIA processes, methodologies, and relevant environmental regulations.
- Experience in leading and managing complex projects.
- The ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies can be an advantage.
- Experience working in the EIA field is highly valued.
