Our multi award-winning Newark based Client is looking for a Building Surveyor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging and rewarding projects. For the right candidate, the role offers strong prospects for progression to a senior position within the company.
THE ROLE
- Building Surveying and report writing:
- Condition reports.
- Party Wall Awards.
- Diagnosis and remedy of building defects.
- Pre-acquisition reports.
- Preparation of dilapidation reports and negotiation of dilapidation claims.
- Small project works, including preparation of drawings, specification writing, schedules of work, preparing JCT Contracts and undertaking the Contract Administrator role.
THE CANDIDATE
- A degree qualified, recently Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS).
- Experience in some, or all, of the above aspects of Building Surveying.
- Minimum 5-10 years experience.
- Ability to use AutoCAD is desirable, but not essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite essential.
- GoReport software experience desirable, but not essential.
- Full driving license.
