Our multi award-winning Newark based Client is looking for a Building Surveyor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging and rewarding projects. For the right candidate, the role offers strong prospects for progression to a senior position within the company.

THE ROLE

  • Building Surveying and report writing:
  • Condition reports.
  • Party Wall Awards.
  • Diagnosis and remedy of building defects.
  • Pre-acquisition reports.
  • Preparation of dilapidation reports and negotiation of dilapidation claims.
  • Small project works, including preparation of drawings, specification writing, schedules of work, preparing JCT Contracts and undertaking the Contract Administrator role.

THE CANDIDATE

  • A degree qualified, recently Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS).
  • Experience in some, or all, of the above aspects of Building Surveying.
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD is desirable, but not essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite essential.
  • GoReport software experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Full driving license.
