The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager with a specialism in Technology who is keen to set and build a Digital Strategy. This experience must be from an Asset Management or Financial Services background in order to lead the development and delivery of a digital strategy roadmap to evolve the Asset Management firm’s online presence.
Ideally, the person will have experience of HTML, Coding, SalesForce, and Pardot. The Digital Marketing Specialist will drive the SEO performance, consolidate digital marketing metrics, and implement a robust analytics and reporting framework to support data-driven decisions.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will have a strong Technology focus and will align digital marketing initiatives across Marketing, Sales, Compliance, and IT, alongside the day-to-day oversight, management, and development of the firm’s website. They will be responsible for the website and intranet management, acting as the first point of contact for all website and intranet queries/requests, overseeing the website functionality, and proactively troubleshooting or escalating any technical issues.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will ensure that the website is fully instrumented for analytics and tracking and will confidently implement and refine a comprehensive SEO strategy. They are expected to work with third-party agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver marketing, digital development, and other company projects, as well as working with the Director of Marketing and other stakeholders to plan and deliver the firm’s digital strategy.
The Marketing Manager will work with different teams within the business, always looking for opportunities to enhance the intranet’s usability, improving search function, organising content logically, or integrating with other internal systems.
The Candidate
- Experience in Marketing Operations, Digital Marketing, or Marketing Technology roles, ideally within Asset Management but broader Financial Services will also be considered.
- Experience of HTML, Coding, SalesForce, and Pardot.
- Relevant digital, e-marketing, and website experience – proven track record of managing websites.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends) as well as Excel skills for handling marketing data.
- Knowledge of relevant social media channels.
- Any experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to present marketing data is a plus.
