Rapier Employment are recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our well-established client on a temporary to permanent basis due to their recent expansion.
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Ensure that the washer is maintained and cleaned on a regular basis.
- Ensure that the pre-use start up and shut down checks are completed daily.
- Complete daily paperwork to give to supervisor on shift.
- Ensure items are ready for distribution by washing and storing in correct locations.
- Support inventory management for tools and spare part stores, keeping track of all tools issues and returned.
Full training will be provided, with development opportunities and ability to progress within the company.
Required:
- Experience of mechanical engineering.
- Good communication skills and time management.
- A full UK driving licence required.
Desired:
- CSCS Card - training to be provided.
- Experience with hand and power tools including but not limited to drills, chisels, circular saws, jig saws, routers, grinders, and plastic welding extruders.
