Our client, an acute hospital in Bangor, is seeking a Make Ready Support Worker to join the Ambulance Service.

They are open to candidates at band 3 level and are offering a long-term contract with an hourly rate of £12 – £13.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring ambulances, equipment, and consumables are ready for operational duty through effective decontamination. This includes cleaning, decontaminating, restocking, vehicle roadworthiness checks, and safety/functional checks of onboard equipment (medical and non-medical). The role may involve shift work, including nights and weekends.

Essential criteria:

• Maintain high standards of environmental cleanliness within the designated area
• Ensure fleet readiness by keeping vehicles stocked, clean, and in good repair
• Maintain cleanliness standards both inside and outside the vehicles
• Ensure clinical response bags are adequately stocked
