An amazing opportunity for an experienced C&I Technician has arisen with a leading company based in Bury St. Edmunds! This role is ideal for a technician with a strong background in installing, commissioning and calibrating. With a diverse range of responsibilities, this position can offer you dynamic fieldwork, customer interaction and technical challenges – all paired with top training and development. As a C&I Technician you will be required to Install, commission, service, and calibrate a variety of process control instrumentation both electronic and mechanical. Perform diagnostics and on-site repairs, ensuring accurate troubleshooting and problem-solving. Collaborate with the Engineering Team Leader to ensure all spares, tools, and required paperwork are available for each job. Communicate with customers to confirm job requirements, estimated arrival times, and any anticipated delays. Work according to industry standards, codes of practice, and quality management systems. Be prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK and occasionally overseas or offshore for assignments.We are looking for a technician who is ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation and control as well as have a full UK driving license.
