Step into a pivotal role in VAT compliance with RSM UK! As a Compliance Analyst in our Global VAT Compliance Reporting (GVCR) team, you’ll drive VAT compliance for international clients, engaging with global stakeholders to enhance tax efficiency. Help deliver top-quality, centralised VAT services across the UK and EU.
Reporting to the head of the GVCR team, you’ll oversee service delivery for a dynamic client portfolio. From client onboarding to VAT compliance across jurisdictions, you’ll be the go-to for indirect tax. This role includes quality assurance on filings, identifying VAT opportunities, and supporting process improvements alongside RSM experts.
You will make an impact by:
- Leading the onboarding process for UK and multi-country clients, ensuring smooth setup and documentation of tax processes.
- Acting as the key contact for clients, managing indirect tax compliance and ensuring timely, accurate filings.
- Reviewing client data, identifying potential VAT advisory opportunities, and collaborating with global VAT experts to meet client needs.
- Managing and developing junior team members, fostering a supportive and high-performance environment.
- Working on VAT process improvements and supporting efficiency projects that enhance client service.
What we are looking for:
- Strong VAT technical skills, ideally with experience in a European role.
- A talent for process improvement and VAT technology enablement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Solid relationship management and communication skills, with an appreciation for global client needs.
