The Job Role
As BDM, you will be working within the mobile team playing a key part in ensuring that the aspirations and targets associated to the team and individual accounts are met and exceeded. You will be expected to provide professional account management to existing customers, of which tasks include relationship building, pipeline management, forecast input, quarterly reviews etc. You should be well organised and able to analyse your performance and present back to senior management within the organisation. You will also be expected to have good negotiation skills and the ability to communicate professionally with the key stakeholders that you interact with within the business. Ultimately, you should be able to facilitate excellent communication with customers and vendors alike and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Monitor the revenue and profit margin performance of all accounts against forecasts and take relevant action to ensure overachievement against targets.
- Maximising the profitability of the account portfolio and adjusting the ongoing plan where necessary.
- Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients’ requirements are met.
- Liaise with sales and marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products.
- Periodic customer credit limit and debt review.
- Always ensure customer satisfaction through excellent levels of ongoing dialogue and query resolution.
- Management of adhoc activities relevant to the role as required.
