Accelerate is a membership association of UK accountancy firms that collaborate via meetings, events, training and an annual conference with particular focus on networking and building trusted relationships.
We are looking for a highly motivated member services executive, ideally with some accountancy experience, to manage our face-to-face and online offering.
Member Firm Support Function – Overview

Develop strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders within our accountancy firms
Build an understanding of the issues affecting members now and in the future
Collate and set up online forums and meetings
Support the executive director in planning and delivery of the Annual Conference
Internal and external communications

Event management

Develop, under the supervision of the executive director, an annual programme of training and networking events
Organise the annual flagship conference to include procuring speakers, conference space, accommodation, catering, transport and events collateral
Liaise with speakers and trainers for online sessions on teams or zoom

Internal Support

Billing and recharging of in-person events
Tracking marketing activity and lead generation
Setting up meetings and travel arrangements
E-mail and diary administration

Person Specification

Previous professional services or membership organisation experience highly desirable
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Meticulous attention to detail and highly organised
Conferences and in-person events may require travel outside of normal working hours
