Cyber Security Analyst – IT Solutions / Managed Service Provider (MSP) As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and integrity of client systems, networks, and data. This role demands a proactive professional with a strong background in cyber security and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. You will play a critical role in identifying and responding to security threats, working within a fast-paced and client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and respond to security alerts, performing in-depth analysis and initiating incident responses. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security risks. Manage and configure security tools, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems. Investigate and document security breaches, coordinating with teams to implement solutions and prevent recurrence. Provide expert advice on cybersecurity best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR). Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies and procedures. Deliver regular security awareness training to internal teams and clients. Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends, implementing proactive measures to safeguard systems. Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in cyber security, ideally within an MSP or IT solutions environment. Proficiency in managing and configuring security tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection). Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). Demonstrable experience with incident response and vulnerability management. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH) are highly desirable.
