New Year - New Role? At GI Group, we have an exciting opportunity for van drivers to join our client based in Stratford-upon-Avon. The ideal candidate will be placed on a temporary contract between January-September 2025 to deliver agricultural products Nationwide, supporting our client's peak period.
Overview: Handball is to be expected pushing trolleys and this position may include some multi-drop runs. This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job. The ideal candidate will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork. The ideal candidate will be confident in liaising with site to update them on any delays or issues should they encounter any.
Shifts and Hours: Monday to Friday - No Weekends! Start Times: 05:00-07:00am
Rates of Pay: Monday to Friday - £11.50 / £12.89 per hour with holiday pay included PAYE ONLY
Qualifications and Experience:
- The ideal candidate will hold a valid driving license with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a van driver.
- Clean driving record and a commitment to safe driving practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
