Typical Day as a Lead Support Worker (Support Coordinator)
- Support customers with daily needs such as cleaning, paying bills, community activities, and appointments.
- Assist in developing skills like cooking, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancy, and moving to independent accommodation.
- Organize activities like cooking groups, community trips, and social events.
- Manage referrals, prepare paperwork, and coordinate visits and assessments.
- Support individuals with severe mental health issues, substance misuse, learning disabilities, or during crises.

- Passion and experience in supporting customers to live their best lives, with collaborative working and attention to detail.
- Experience in creating person-centred support plans and supporting colleagues accordingly.
- Skills in coordinating and assessing referrals.

Job Details
- Flexible scheduling to meet customer needs, including occasional shift adjustments.
- Rolling rota covering days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with shifts typically from 9am to 5/6pm, 2pm to 11pm, or sleep-ins from 7am to 3/4pm.
- Regular team meetings and training, with some lone working.
- Proficiency in technology for support plans, online learning, and collaboration.
- Enhanced DBS check required; paid for by us.
