The Security Evaluations Risk Specialist provides high-quality insights regarding facility physical security risk assessments and analysis as part of the Risk Advisory team.
Responsibilities:- Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Knowledge of facility physical security risk assessment processes.
- Create and manage security assessment evaluation criteria.
- Develop and train risk advisors and consultants on assessment tools and guidelines.
- Check text for style, readability, punctuation, grammar, and adherence to style guide.
- Define, operationalize, and manage data-driven digital platforms for data collection and dissemination.
- Identify, recruit, and qualify potential risk assessment consultants.
- Coordinate multiple projects, administer project management and security assessment software, and track project delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in homeland security, security management, emergency management, or related field.
- One to three years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications such as PSP, CPP, CSMP, CEM are preferred.
- Knowledge of physical security threat, vulnerability, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to present and support multi-platform digital tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and security audit software is a plus.
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Regular computer use, occasional lifting, and operating office equipment.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Availability for after-hours work and travel as needed.
