Join our team as a Wine Waiter at Bodmin Jail Hotel, a unique four-star luxury hotel set within historic surroundings in Cornwall. We are seeking a confident, chatty, wine-loving individual who excels in providing exceptional service in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering elegant and knowledgeable wine service, including decanting and pouring, in line with hotel standards
- Recommending wines and upselling premium bottles and pairings based on guest preferences
- Supporting mise en place and maintaining wine service equipment and stock
- Achieving sales targets through upselling and recommendations
- Organising and managing wine stock and establishing relationships with suppliers

- Passion for and proven experience in the wine industry
