A meticulous housekeeper with very strong attention to detail is needed for a beautiful and large home in Mayfair. The Principal's both lead busy lives and have just had a newborn baby. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be strong at managing a household without direction with high attention to detail.
Duties include:
- Traditional housekeeping
- Cleaning the bedrooms and bathrooms
- Mopping everyday, dusting, wiping surfaces, tidying the home, vacuuming, polishing
- Washing up and loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Caring for marble and other antique/bespoke furnishings in the household
- Laundry and ironing. Caring for delicates and handwashing garments
- Running errands such as grocery shopping and dropping parcels off from the post office/dry cleaners
- Basic cooking - simple vegetable preparation/making salads
- Very occasional childcare
The clients are particular and have high standards, therefore it is important that the candidate can keep the home impeccably clean and tidy at all times.
The days/hours of the role are Monday to Friday, 40-45 hours per week. Flexibility is required, as there may be some occasional evening and/or weekend work. You will have time off in lieu if this is the case.
The accommodation offered is a beautifully done 2-bedroom apartment with a separate entrance, kitchenette, sitting room, and bathroom.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with homes of a similar nature and be an efficient and proactive self-starter.
