We are a 32 bedded nursing home in Shrewsbury, part of the Capital Care Group, and we are currently looking for a Part Time Night Care Assistant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that high quality care is delivered to all of our residents.
- Supporting our residents with personal hygiene and continence care.
- Supporting our residents with their mobility, which may include hoisting individuals.
- Ensuring that our residents receive adequate dirt and fluid intake.
- Being compassionate with residents who are poorly or who are receiving end-of-life care.
- Having an understanding of elderly/dementia care.
- Being a caring individual who wants to make a difference in our residents' lives.
Salary: £10.50-11.00 per hour, depending on NVQ qualifications.
DBS: To be applied for before commencement - £46.16 (cash payment).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Benefits: On-site parking.
Schedule: 12 hour shift, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Overtime, Weekend availability.
Ability to commute/relocate: Shrewsbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
