Salary: £12.32 - £16 per hour + overtime = earnings of £26000
Do you have previous experience working in a manufacturing/engineering/production environment? Are you physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced production environment - carrying trays/parts/components from different departments across the production facility? Would you be competent working with hand held mechanical tools? If so, then please read on!
The basics:
- Role: Permanent
- Location: Broxtowe
- Mon-Thur 7am to 3:30pm and 7am to 12:30.
- Every 6-8 weeks approx., you would work 2 weeks of nights x3 10 hr shifts Mon-Weds with x1 7.5hrs Thurs. Start times between 4pm and 5pm.
- Days = up to £12.32 per hour
- Nights = up to £16.00 per hour
- Earnings = £26000 and upwards
- 33 days holiday
- Bonus
The role:
You will play a key role in supporting production doing various duties such as de-burring and finishing by hand the components, moving components around the site to various departments, visually inspecting components, aiding machine setters with tool change overs, packing of components etc.
Overview:
Working in first class manufacturing facilities for a company that has production sites across the world, we now require additional Mechanical operatives. This is a permanent role employed directly by the company who can offer stability due to the products that they make.
The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Any mechanical skills using handheld tools beneficial
- Competent with computers to a basic level
- Any measuring skills - using verniers/callipers etc.
