We currently have Casual Mobile Cleaner posts to join the team cleaning Public Toilets. The team are based at Bankhead, Glenrothes covering various areas in Fife as required this post has an hour break for lunch. Weekend enhancements are paid for this post when covering Saturday or Sunday.
Casual staff receive payments in lieu of annual leave for hours worked.
You will earn £12.67 per hourwith access to a range of benefits, including:
- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.67 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is every 4 weeks.
- Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car when required.

This work is about ensuring public toilet facilities are left in a clean and safe standard. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference.
No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate

The Person
Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work.
Driver’s licence required for Council Vehicle provided to carry out cleaning.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
