Family is looking for carers who can support an older gentleman in the Bellingham area. They are recruiting a team of carers to support him within the family home. The gentleman has Motor Neuron Disease (MND), hypertension, and reduced mobility, which increases his fall risk. He enjoys watching TV, rugby, rowing, and listening to classical music.
Hours of work: 22 hours per week, including day, evening, and weekend calls, three times daily, seven days a week.
Days and times: To be discussed at interview.
Rate of Pay: £13.74 per hour
Location: Bellingham area
Main Duties:
- Supporting hoist transfers
- Personal hygiene
- Continence care
- Showering while helping to reduce fall risk
- Providing cover during holidays and sickness
