For Companies LRL are currently looking for a Mechanical Fitter to start work early in 2025 in Cambridge. First, we will look for local candidates; however, we will expand as the project develops. All tradesmen will need to be qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), and all will require a CCNSG card. The project will last for at least 12 months, with the following details:
- Rates of Pay: As per NAECI
- 11-Day Working Pattern:
- Week 1:
- Monday to Thursday: 10.5 hours (7am to 6pm)
- Friday to Sunday: 10 hours (7am to 5.30pm)
- Monday to Wednesday: 10.5 hours (7am to 6pm)
- Thursday: 6.5 hours (7am to 1.30pm)
- £2 paid the following week, subject to timekeeping/HSE compliance
- £1 retained for 12 weeks, subject to consistent attendance and compliance with site rules
Ideal Candidate Experience:
- Mechanical fitting
- Installing pumps, valves, and pneumatics
Essential Requirements:
- CCNSG Card
- Previous experience installing mechanical equipment on an industrial site
- Experience working on heavy industrial sites, e.g., power stations, refineries, steelworks, etc.
