Safe Places for Children UK is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated casual team members to join our growing charity, providing therapeutic care to vulnerable, traumatised young people. Originating from Australia, we have brought our researched Integrated Practice Framework to the UK to develop a new therapeutic residential service for young people.
Position Details
- Casual Rates: £14.11/hour (Weekday), £16.28/hour (Weekend), £70.00 per sleepover
- Employment Type: Casual
- Reports To: Registered Manager

Shift Details
- Minimum 72 hours/month, including 2 sleepovers
- Shift pattern: 24-hour shifts with 16 hours awake and 8 hours sleepover
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience with challenging behaviours, preferably in a residential setting
- Level 3 qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, or Health and Social Care
- UK or Irish Driving Licence (>1 year, no more than 3 penalty points)
- Part 1 or Part 2 registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council
- Positive and clean Enhanced Access NI Check
