As an Apprentice Network Control Technician you will learn and develop skills and an understanding to enable you to look after everything from desktop workstations to data centres, to cloud. Some of our systems form a part of critical national infrastructure (CNI), and some support our corporate functions but all of them support Electricity North West Limited in delivering vital services to the people of the North West and we are proud to be a part of that.

About You:

You will need the following skills and qualifications to start your career journey with us:

  • A minimum of Maths and English Language at GCSE (or equivalent) levels 4 - 9 or A* - C.
  • As well as one of the following:
  • Two A Levels A* - C (one must be in a Maths or Physics).
  • A BTEC National Certificate Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (merit or distinction).
  • An ONC in Electrical Engineering (merit or distinction).

We will also be looking for:

  • Working as part of a team.
  • An interest in driving forward your career.
  • A desire to learn and develop.
