Rates of Pay:
- PCV Holder starting rate (with over 12 months' experience in the last 4 years): £15.80 per hour with overtime paid at 1.25x standard rate, up to £19.75 per hour.
- Less than 12 months' experience: £15.40 per hour with overtime paid at 1.25x standard rate, up to £19.25 per hour!
Hours of Work and Role:
- Enhanced hourly rate of 1.25x paid for unsociable hours from 21:00 – 05:00, Saturdays, Sundays, bank holidays, working rest days & overtime.
- 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, scheduled up to 6-8 weeks in advance for better planning.
- Morning shifts starting from 04:00, Afternoons from 12:00, and Evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis.
Requirements:
- PCV Licence (If you do not have this, consider applying for our trainee bus driver role on Indeed)
- Minimum age of 18 with at least 6 months of driving experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Mandatory drug and alcohol test during the driving assessment
- Weekend availability based on your rota, with advance notice.
