For Companies Taylor Lane has a vacancy for a full-time and permanent Forklift Truck/Loader Driver. You will be working in our yard/factory ensuring the smooth running of goods in and despatch as well as assisting the factory process.
The role is based at one of our factories on the Rotherwas Industrial Estate, Hereford.
Responsibilities
- Job responsibilities include an element of manual labour and sometimes working in the factory, manufacturing timber frame components in addition to the yard duties.
- Unloading/checking goods in of stock.
- Loading our vehicles with finished product of manufactured panels and goods.
- Preparing panel stacks for loading.
- Stacking/organising timber in the yard and labelling and organising finished goods.
- Maintaining cleanliness and efficient working in the yard.
- Supplying stock to the work areas within the factories.
- Removing finished stock from the factory for yard storage and transportation.
- Assisting with any job roles within the factory, as required.
Desired Experience
- Experience in a similar background is preferred.
Desired Qualifications
- Full forklift counterbalance licence – essential.
