We are working exclusively with a highly respected, independent UK Top 100 accountancy practice to recruit a Partner to lead and grow their SME Audit & Business Services division. The firm is headquartered in London and operates across a national network of six offices. Known for its strong technical capability and collaborative culture, the firm is entering an exciting phase of growth and succession planning.
Your new role
This newly created role has arisen due to the planned retirement of the current partner. You will take full ownership of a well-established portfolio generating approximately £900k in fees, including:
- Audit: c£200k
- Accountancy & Business Services: c£400k
You will lead a capable team, including a highly experienced Senior Manager and four staff members, and manage a diverse client base, including three large audits with turnovers reaching up to £60m. Around two days per week will be dedicated to technical delivery and client relationship management. The remainder of your time will focus on business development, strategic planning, and expanding the firm's presence in the London SME market. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider growth of the firm across its national office network.

- RI status with a strong background in both audit and business services
- Proven experience in client relationship management and portfolio leadership
- A commercial mindset with a passion for business development
- Ambition to build and lead a division, with the ability to shape strategy and drive growth
- A desire to disrupt the SME Audit & Accountancy market, leveraging the firm's national audit strength to expand in London
