cer Financial are working alongside a great international bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Credit Administrator Manager to work with them on a permanent basis.
The responsibilities of a Credit Administration Manager will include:
- Review all post-completion files within a required period, ensuring limits, interest rates, collateral, and fees are correctly marked or recorded.
- Follow up for perfection of security documents and ensure complete security packages are received from solicitors for the bank’s safekeeping.
- Facilitate the empanelment of solicitors and valuers.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Participate in projects related to the Credit Administration function and participate in user acceptance testing.
To oversee and deliver on service level agreements regarding Management and Control processes including but not limited to:
- Limit Input and Update.
- Interest Rate Changes.
- Bank and Trade Finance Limits.
- Perfection and Registration of Security.
- Collateral Input and Update.
- Limit Expiry control systems.
- Insurance checking and update.
- Remediation.
- Repayment, discharge, and release.
- Dealing with lease consent requests.
- Addressing requisitions from Auditors.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and property revaluation including index valuation.
- Maintain and update relevant procedures and guidelines.
The successful Credit Administration Manager will have:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in credit administration and processes with local banks engaging in Buy to Let (residential and commercial) & SME banking products, working capital facilities.
- Strong understanding of documentation, security perfection, regulatory, and property due diligence requirements.
- Experience with risk mitigation & control processes.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets & database tools.
- Strong understanding of credit documentation, security perfection, valuation, collateral management, laws, and regulations based on work experience.
