A well-known global retailer is looking to expand their growing finance team with a Finance Manager. This company is going through an exciting period of growth, so it is a great time to join now!

Your new role

  • Managing 3-4 direct reports, and supporting their development and learning
  • Producing monthly management account packs
  • Managing and reconciling the Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
  • Supplier Income reporting, month end accounting, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Provide analysis, insight and informative reporting to support and influence business decisions
  • Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting
  • Coordinate year-end audit requests and assist to prepare statutory accounts
  • Evaluating the success of ongoing trials and projects, and proposing recommendations
  • Ad hoc finance projects and analysis

What you’ll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with industry experience. Retail or manufacturing industry experience is desirable. You’ll need to be highly numerate with a strong analytical background, as well as an effective communicator with all levels of stakeholders.
