A bit about the role: This is a field-based role covering the UK and Ireland, with occasional overseas travel. Ideally, candidates should be based around the Coventry area. We are seeking a qualified professional with expertise in Electrical, Electronics, or Engineering and experience in a customer-facing field service or technical support role. The role involves working with a range of advanced water quality monitors, gas detection systems, and flow meters. Comprehensive training on all products will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for engineers from various backgrounds. Experience in the water industry is advantageous but not essential. Provide field-based service and calibration, including routine maintenance, installation, and commissioning of equipment. Conduct training for end-users to ensure effective operation of systems. Offer technical support to the sales team. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in a field service role, ideally within an electro-mechanical or technical environment. A valid driving licence. Knowledge of Instrumentation, Gas Detection or Water Equipment would be ideal. Flexibility to adapt to changes and handle challenges with a systematic approach to problem-solving. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. At least 1-3 years of experience servicing analytical equipment; water industry experience is a bonus but not essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Willingness to travel Monday to Friday, with occasional overnight stays.
