Cedar Recruitment are delighted to be supporting with the recruitment of an Estates and Corporate Services Category Manager for a leading Education client who are voted 7th best in the UK for research. Working within an organisation with a clear mission to be come the most inclusive institute, you will have a chance to be part of an environment where the organisation is committed to creating potential for students and staff to really flourish. This role is permanent and is paying between £55.000-£58,500 per annum. For this role you must be able to get into East London 2 days per week. Duties will include but are not limited too…. Lead on medium-high risk and value procurement projects Actively support value for money Ensure transparent and compliant tenders are carried out. To ensure that compliance and best value is achieved for all Tenders carried out. This will include co-ordinating the development of product/service specifications Be a point of contact for providing contractual advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders To quantify and deliver procurement savings in accordance with agreed objectives. Contribute to the management and development of Queen Mary’s procurement policy and procedures Deliver and develop Category Plans and strategies Requirements: At least 4 years of experience of running end to end procurement’s across the public sector (PCR2015) Experience of working to either NEC or JCT contract suites or relevant category experience Experience of implementing category strategies and developing procurement processes and pipeline Should you be keen to be considered, then please apply and one of the team will be in touch to discuss further if you meet the requirements.
