Job Title: Domestic Assistant

Note: This role is for 25 hours/week, with the following schedule:

1. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 8am to 3pm
2. Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday – 8am to 3pm

Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of order and tidiness in the laundry area.
• Ensure residents\’ clothing is clean, well-maintained, and properly repaired if needed.
• Manage linen stocks for daily use and report issues to the Senior Housekeeper.
• Fold, separate, and redistribute linen and clothing with kindness and attention to detail.
• Create a well-maintained environment that contributes to residents\’ happiness and health.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Positive energy and the ability to get along with people.
• Strong communication skills, attentive listening, and kindness in interactions.
• Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and to report concerns appropriately.
