Senior DevOps Engineer – Terraform – Linux – Python – AWS – The Senior DevOps Engineer will be required to attend the client’s offices two days per week in central London. Cloud-first environment. London-based data-driven financial trading company that operate within the algorithmic trading space seeks Senior DevOps Engineer to join a Data and DevOps engineering team. The team works closely with software engineers, data scientists and analytics teams to implement event-driven analytics solutions. An ideal candidate for the business would be an individual that is deeply passionate about working with high quality, well-structured infrastructure environments, leveraging the latest technology and methods available. The Senior DevOps Engineer will: Assist with the growth and enhancement of their core environments. Be fully involved in the architecture, build, and maintenance of their Linux environment. Assist with continuous deployments across several environments. Enhancement of automation of infrastructure systems. Assist with the standardisation of the containerised platform and drive towards Cloud. Identify ways to improve reliability, efficiency and quality. The Senior DevOps Engineer will have: 6 + years of commercial experience. Proven DevOps experience within Linux environments. AWS experience essential. Scripting experience – Python or Bash. Implemented Automation environments across multiple environments. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform experience required. CI/CD experience. The client is looking for high-performing individuals and offer a competitive base salary commensurate with experience plus bonus, generous benefits package. The DevOps Engineer will be heavily involved in a number of cloud-based projects.
