About the Role As a Machine Minder, you will have the opportunity to advance within our organisation, progressing into engineering or technician roles. We offer excellent internal progression pathways, including access to our modern apprenticeship programmes. Key Responsibilities The role involves operating equipment and ensuring the machines within our production lines are functioning efficiently. You will serve as a support to our engineers. This role also offers the opportunity to undertake an approved apprenticeship, with the potential for day-release to attend a college course. This position provides a pathway into engineering for individuals who are keen to pursue this career but have not yet had the opportunity to do so. Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work Working within a fast-paced environment supporting our technical engineering staff.About You This is an entry level position, any prior hands-on work experience would be advantageous. Key Skills Ideally you will have hands-on experience in a manual role including as a painter/ decorator or woodwork. NVQ qualifications level 1 or 2 would be advantageous but not essential The role is based at our site UK Poultry site in Sandycroft and will consist of rotating engineering shift patterns 4 days on 4 days off which will be discussed at interview stage.
