Job Description
An international Architecture and design practice is looking for a Principal Designer to join their existing Health and Safety team. Working on a range of projects including leisure facilities, local authority premises, libraries and building redevelopments. You will have demonstrable experience as a Principal Designer and ideally be located for projects in London.\\n\\nDuties include:\\n\\nAssisting clients to ensure that they comply with their statutory duties.\\n\\nActing as the nominated Principal Designer consultant to internal and external organisations.\\n\\nCarrying out full Principal Designer duties under the CDM regulations 2015, including chairing Design Team Meetings and full Design Risk Management compliance.\\n\\nConducting site Health and Safety audits.\\n\\nRepresenting the company at meetings with clients, other professionals and suppliers.\\n\\nResponsibility for ensuring full compliance of all Health and Safety requirements, practices and procedures.\\n\\nExperience:\\n\\nSeveral years’ experience acting as Principal Designer.\\n\\nA demonstrable understanding of design and construction drawings, with experience of undertaking Design Risk Reviews.\\n\\nYou will have sufficient experience to enable you to manage, with support, your own workload and project deliverables.\\n\\nQualifications:\\n\\nYou will ideally hold or be working towards CMaPS Accreditation.\\n\\nA degree or equivalent in a Built Environment subject and/or membership of other relevant professional bodies (MCABE, MCIOB, RIBA, MRICS, MAPM, MIStructE, MICE, CEng, etc would be beneficial but not essential.\\n\\nThe company are offering £55k-£65k plus pension, healthcare, profit share + more
