Senior Java/Kotlin Engineer

Role Overview: They are seeking a talented Senior Java/Kotlin Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend services utilizing Java and Kotlin. You will also have the opportunity to work with AWS services and contribute to frontend development using TypeScript/JavaScript. The ideal candidate is passionate about fintech innovation, possesses strong technical skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Utilize AWS services to build and deploy scalable and reliable applications. Contribute to frontend development using TypeScript/JavaScript when necessary. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning sessions. Mentor junior engineers and share best practices to promote continuous learning and growth within the team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Extensive experience with Java and Kotlin development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Proficiency in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB. Solid understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript for frontend development. Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members of diverse backgrounds.
