We are currently recruiting for a FLT driver on behalf of our fantastic client based in Tilbury Docks. This is working for an importer and supplier of paper, timber and other commodities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently for loading and unloading timber sheets as well as other products occasionally.
- Accurately picking and transporting timber products to designated storage areas.
- Manual handling, including lifting, moving, and stacking goods securely.
- Conducting detailed quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet required standards.
- Reporting any damaged goods or discrepancies promptly to supervisors.
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation, ensuring workspaces remain safe and accessible.
- Following health and safety guidelines rigorously to promote a secure working environment for all employees.
- Assisting with inventory management and stock control when required.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift License
- Previous warehouse experience
Monday – Friday, 12 -20:00 £13.80ph 45 HR Paid week (£32,500)
