DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking an experienced Transport Clerk to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of all transport scheduled activities.
What does the role entail?
- Manage customer proof of deliveries for scanning/uploading and action missing proof of deliveries and returns.
- Conduct daily briefings and de-briefings of drivers.
- Ensure compliance with all Company Health & Safety policies and report concerns/issues to senior management promptly.
- Support all aspects of the Transport Operation.
- Monitor drivers' schedules on route using Microlise and follow escalation procedures as required.
What do we need from you?
- Experience working in a fast-moving transport operation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
- Experience with Tachomaster and Microlise.
- Knowledge of Legal Compliance and WTD.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally.
