We are currently looking for exceptional people to join our team and have a great opportunity for a Night Porter.

As a night porter, you will be responsible for the safety and security of the hotel and its guests. You will be required to complete night porter duties in line with Company standards.

The ideal candidate would possess a security and safety conscious attitude and have the ability to work alone as well as part of a team. Excellent customer service skills are essential. Experience working in a similar position would be advantageous, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

1. Complete statutory fire and security checks.
2. Complete daily handover procedures in an efficient and responsible manner.
3. Ensure all corridors are clear; fire extinguishers and fire doors are secure whilst conducting safety floor checks during the night.
4. Maintain a visible presence within the hotel to ensure that all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively.
5. Deal with guest queries and complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
6. Work closely with the hotel\’s management team to ensure compliance with all hygiene and health and safety programmes.
7. Assist in the smooth running of the food and beverage departments during your shift.

Requirements Of The Role

1. Experience working in a hotel or accommodation services business.
2. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and enjoy it.
3. Ability to work independently, being self-motivated to complete tasks.
4. Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends, and observe operation on different days of the week.
5. Follow hygiene and cleanliness standards to ensure the hotel is kept clean and tidy.
