We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Receptionist to become a key part of our vibrant inner-city Islamic school in Birmingham. This is a brand-new post—an exciting opportunity to help shape our front-of-house experience and support the development of our growing administration team.

What you’ll be doing:

As the first face people see and the first voice they hear, you’ll be welcoming visitors, supporting staff, and keeping our busy office running like clockwork. It’s a varied, rewarding role where every day brings something new.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is sympathetic to and respectful of the Islamic faith
  • Brings solid experience as a receptionist or administrator—ideally in a school setting
  • Thrives in a fast-paced office and can juggle tasks with calm and confidence
  • Communicates clearly, warmly, and professionally with families, staff, and the wider community
  • Is highly organised and detail-focused
  • Can think strategically and act practically to support the school’s values and growth

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
