In the Bar Staff role, you will be responsible for assisting the Bar Manager in the profitable and efficient running of the bar. You will need to ensure good stock rotation and control and maintain good customer relationships at all times. What will I be doing?
- As a Bar Staff member at The Barnstaple Hotel, you will provide efficient service to guests, be knowledgeable about our drinks menu, and ensure the bar area is prepared and stocked.
- Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing the bar area for daily operations
- Having great knowledge of drinks menu and bar offerings
- Maintaining adequate stock levels of all products
- Ensuring a good supply of clean glasses
Additionally, you will be responsible for providing a friendly and professional guest experience.
In the Porter role, your tasks include greeting guests, carrying luggage, showing guests to their rooms, cleaning, light gardening, checking light bulbs, delivering newspapers, and cleaning front of house areas. You will serve beverages, maintain a neat appearance, comply with health and safety policies, and assist other departments as needed.
