Job Title: ABA Teaching Assistant Salary/Rate: £22,350 pa, depending on experience and qualifications Location: Acton Industry: Education Milk Education are in partnership with a two-sited primary and secondary school who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants who have previous experienced as an ABA or interested in being trained as an ABA Tutor The school are guided by the science of applied behaviour analysis (ABA) including Skinners Analysis of Verbal Behaviour. Pupils receive an individually devised programme to promote communication an independence with also having delivered specific interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis by subject specialist teachers and tutors. Pupils are part of a class group consisting of 6 pupils and 6 ABA tutors led by a teacher and ABA supervisor. They access 1:1 provision as well as group teaching, therapies, social play and generalisation throughout the day.
