As we expand our commercial team, we’re looking for a Catalytic Converter Buyer who can help secure additional volumes and forge new supplier relationships. What You Will Be Doing
In this dynamic and varied role, you’ll play a vital part in our commercial operations. From visiting supplier sites and customer locations to grading and valuing catalytic converters, your day-to-day will be fast-paced and people-focused. You’ll also support our team of buyers operationally and commercially while building your own portfolio of customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Visiting both internal sites and external customers to inspect, grade, and purchase catalytic converters
- Developing strong commercial relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Using company systems to accurately grade materials based on category and serial codes
- Managing payments, hazardous waste documentation, and logistics
- Promoting health and safety and supporting leadership across the business
- Providing excellent customer service through accurate administration and communication
- Assisting in the development and execution of strategies to increase converter volumes
- Performing ad-hoc tasks aligned with business needs
