Production Operative

Our client works with a wide range of customers across the UK, supplying artists, photographers, and businesses with photographic, printing and picture framing services.

Due to their continued success, they now have a position for a Production Operative to work in their busy workshop. This position would suit an enthusiastic and hard-working individual, with an ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining high-quality standards.

What we need from you as a Production Operative:

• Similar industry experience preferred but not essential; full training provided
• Excellent attention to detail
• Organised and able to work on your own initiative
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written
• Ability to work quickly and under pressure
• Good problem solving with ability to find efficiency improvements
• Excellent time keeping skills – punctual
• Driving licence would be a bonus, but not essential

What the role involves:

You will be preparing orders for dispatch / collection, as well as some customer facing tasks.

Duties include:

• Producing picture frames, making notice boards
• Stretching canvas
• Preparing print orders
• Answering the phone/speaking to customers in the shop
• Taking customer orders
• Organising the workshop including inbound deliveries

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.

Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday and an average of two Saturdays per month (12-3pm).
